Mars Hill Retirement Community is a member of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) and follows ALFA’s Philosophy of Care for Assisted Living. Located near the Blue Ridge Mountains in the college town of Mars Hill, the community offers a wide variety of enriching activities to the residents of its 56 apartments. Archetype designed a logo and image brochure for the community and then carried this look to a pocket folder and series of fact sheets (see below). The client wanted the logo to suggest the natural environment near the community, as well as the artistic culture of the town of Mars Hill. Archetype created a hand-drawn logo featuring the dogwood blossoms common to the area in spring. Throughout the series of materials, each design element was carefully chosen to allude to the high quality of personalized care provided to residents at the community. | ||
